Your personal chef Ryan Turner has a huge range of experience within the hospitality and catering industry both front of house and within the kitchen. Most recently working with Welsh Michelin star chef Hywel Jones at llanerch vineyard in Cardiff has given Ryan an opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge to create imaginative, high class dishes.
Ryan gained his Bachelors degree in hospitality management at UWIC University, Cardiff in 2008. Through the university he gained valuable knowledge about a range of subjects such as customer service and business management along with gaining an advanced level certification in Wines and spirits and advanced food hygiene
Ryan worked at the prestigious private members Greenwich country club in Connecticut, located near New York from 2005 to 2006. This enabled Ryan to become familiar with the high level of fine dining and personal service standards which are expected in such fine establishments. Ryan was able to develop as an employee carrying out management roles towards the end of his placement being in charge of events for up to 300 people.
Ryan has also gained a years experience working in Europe both in the French Alps and the south of France catering for luxury ski and Villa holidays. This gave Ryan a greater understanding of classic European cookery and enabled him to develop his own dishes and style of food using the best local ingredients.
With his many years of experience working as a chef Ryan can confidently produce good quality and imaginative food. His level of food hygiene is exemplary and his ability to host a dinner party
on your behalf is second to none.
